In order for me to progress in my career and become a Chartered Engineer, I had to complete an MSc degree. With having a full time job and a young family, a distance learning degree was the only way I could achieve my goal. MTEC offered a flexible and accredited MSc degree programme which suited my needs. I was able to complete my studies (10 modules and a project) within two and a half years with a good overall mark on the MSc General degree stream.
The MTEC programme was thoroughly enjoyable. It is conducted in a very professional manner, and you get the opportunity to not only study at the top universities in the UK, but also gain valuable information from excellent university lecturers and fellow students. I have and would recommend the programme to anyone who wishes to progress in the field.
Having been rewarded with my degree, I have recently applied to become a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). MTEC has opened up so many avenues for my career progression and for that, I am extremely grateful to all those involved with the management and delivery of it.
