The programme and all CPD modules are accredited by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) download certificate and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) download certificate.

MTEC is the only distance learning programme currently offering an accredited MSc in Marine Technology, thereby enabling graduates in the marine industry to obtain chartered engineer status whilst remaining in full-time employment.
